Mumbai, Feb 14: A day when love is in the air, it turned out to be an anticlimax for Abhishek Awasthi, the boyfriend of Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant, who was slapped in full media glare early this afternoon.Apparently, Abhishek had gone to reconcile with his ladylove Rakhi after the couple's reported split. If rumours are to be believed, Rakhi had called off their long-term relationship, citing Abhishek's possessive nature as the reason behind her reaction. Rakhi also added that her beau didn't approve of her donning short dresses and mixing around with other men.AAbhishek had invited the media persons to accompany him to Rakhi's residence as he was going to reconcile with her. He had also taken a bouquet and life size teddy bear to win back his lady love on Valentine's Day. But all his efforts went in vain when Rakhi slapped him a number of times. But Abhishek refused to let go off her and kept on pleading with her.He went on his knees and docilely bore her whacks. Eventually, Rakhi gave in after asking Abhishek to apologize in Marathi and swear on his mother not to repeat his actions.The media had a glimpse of the melodramatic side of Rakhi, the 'Drama Queen' yet again. Hope these lovebirds stay together till the next Valentine's Day!

Taking a cue from the flops produced under his banner during 2007, Ace producer Aditya Chopra has now pulled out all stops and is reported to be rolling up his sleeves to direct his own film starring two Bollywood superstars Shahrukh and Hrithik in the lead roles. And Rani Mukerji and Preity zinta, both favorites of Adi are expected to be part of the project which will be shot in Greece, Australia, and Dubai.
Contrary to the genre of romantic films produced by Aditya's banner, the new project will have more action and humor. According to the sources, both SRK and Hrithik have plenty of free dates of their calendar as do Rani and Preity for Aditya. Aditya is currently reading the final draft of the film and hopes to start Pre-Production work in March so that shooting can commence by June –July. Last year, other than Chak De! India, all the other films from Aditya Chopra's productions flopped at the box office. The string of flops include Ta Ra Rum Pum, Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, laaga Chunari Mein daag and Aaja Nachle . Even the faces of the big stars could not save these films which include Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Madhuri dixit.
In the past, Aditya Directed two films DDLJ in 1995, and Mo0habatein in 2000 which were a run away hits. Now by directing his next movie with the two big stars he wants the magic to be repeated
