Bollywood star Anil Kapoor come back with Yash Raj Production after a long gap of 15 years. Previously with this banner Anil Kapoor did Sridevi Waheeda Rehman starring Lamhe and now he is in a negative role in Tashan. The lovable hit pair of Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar once again with each other after did a number of movies like Sameer Malkan's Main Anari Tu Khilaadi, Yeh Dillagi, Tu Chor Main Sipahi, Keemat and Madhuri Dixit starrer Aarzoo.

Akshay Kumar's last film which we have remember for Yash Chopra was Dil To Pagal Hai in 1998 in this he did a impressive guest appearance with actors Shahrukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit. About Saif Ali Khan is an everlasting actor for YashRaj films we know through last releases Salaam Namaste, Hum Tum, and Ta Ra Rum Pum.

Tashan's direction is in the creative hands of Vijay Krishna Acharya who was writing scripts for television serials such as Just Mohhabat, Son Pari and very interesting daily soap Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi for which he was the creative and story supervisor its first 260 episodes. Vijay Krishna leads towards big screen and take on the screenplay and dialogue writing for blockbuster movie Dhoom and its sequel Dhoom 2. Tashan is his first directorial film. Akshay Kumar in Kerala

AKSHAYE KHANNA is shooting in Alleppey with one of his favourite directors, PRUTADARSHAN, for an untitled film and he is virtually living it out in a plush houseboat in the famous backwaters of Kerala.

Since this is Akshaye's first visit to the state, he is enjoying every bit of the shoot in this land of lagoons, beaches and unspoilt backwaters.

Akshay Kumar our 'Khiladi' is all gearing up to launch his official website. Akki was so impressed on browsing websites of his Hollywood counterpart that he decided to launch his own.

The locals have told him how the modern houseboats have evolved from the traditional kettuvallams and are equipped with all modern amenities like plush carpets, bedrooms with attached bath and on board food.

Akshay Kumar was born as Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia on September 9th 1967 in Mumbai and completed his schooling from Don Bosco School in Matunga, Mumbai.Akshay went to Bangkok to learn martial arts. Akshay came back to India to follow his dreams of making it big in Bollywood;




















Akshaye said: "I am enjoying my stay in a houseboat out here. It's a different experience altogether. Kerala is such a beautiful place and I'm charmed by its beauty. There is so much of tranquil, calm in the backwaters of Kerala."

Shahrukh Khan endorsing Nokia mobiles

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan, who has been roped in as the brand ambassador of Nokia, a mobile phone manufacturer, maintained at the sets of the shooting of the advertisement that the presence of big names does not mean big sales.

Khan went on record to say that celebrity endorsement might not ensure an increase in the sale of a product.

"It is a matter of pride also when international companies use Indians from among us as brand (ambassadors). But to be honest, I can say that celebrities cannot ensure a rise in the sales figures," said Khan.

Khan vehemently denies the accusation.

"I went to meet the Indian cricket team. Now, they have a problem with me being there on the cricket ground. I meet them personally. There was a function for them in Lucknow, so I took my son with me. It was his birthday. Myself, Kareena, Keona and Diya performed," said Khan.

The advertisement which will go on air soon was shot by Pradeep Sarkar, who has earlier directed films such as 'Parineeta' and 'Laaga Chunari Me Daag'.

Shahrukh Khan is the biggest ever celebrity endorsing Nokia mobiles. The company plans to launch the television commercial first which would be followed by the print advertisements.

Salman Khan has roped in Anil Sharma to be direct the film veer

There was a rumours that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has politely declined Salman Khan's offer to direct a film 'Veer', penned by Salman himself.

If Salman were to offer me a script to direct, I'd accept to direct it, irrespective of whatever commitments I may have," Bhansali himself clarified. He also believes in Salman, the scriptwriter. "He's Salim Khan's son, so writing must be in his genes," Bhansali's was quoted as saying.
















However, a close friend of Bhansali, states that Bhansali was never approached to direct Veer in the first place. Sanjay and Salman are close friends and the filmmaker still maintains that he owes his career to Salman Khan. "

Sanjay and Salman's friendship was forged during the making of Bhansali's directorial debut 'Khamoshi', which starred Salman. Though the movie didn't do very well commercially, the duo got together again for 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam'. The movie was a super hit. Salman also had a cameo in Bhansali's latest 'Saawariya'

Apparently, Khan has roped in Anil Sharma to be direct the film.
